For centuries, the Wiradjuri people have been known for their arts and crafts – and this tradition continues today, with locally made items and artworks on display and available for purchase at Condobolin’s Community Centre shop and Wiradjuri Study Centre (also enquire at the Lachlan Shire Visitor Information Centre). In the main street of Condo, The White Picket Store, Zangne and The Hall all offer fashion racks to browse – with the latter also a great spot for art, giftware and coffee. Just across the street, Stem the florist will make everything beautiful with her arrangements and gorgeous smelling accessories.

Of course, this is just the beginning – so be sure to stock up on tasty supplies at the local bakeries and deli sections of SuperIGA or Foodworks. The best way to get your bearings in Condo or Lake Cargelligo is to simply walk up and down the main streets – which just happens to be a convenient way to do a bit of window shopping at the same time.
